　内部統制報告制度の施行から15年以上が経過し、J-SOX対応実務が定着する中、海外拠点におけるJ-SOX内部統制の構築・評価で苦労されている企業様も多いのではないでしょうか。内部統制実施基準の改訂を契機とし、海外拠点が評価範囲に追加となる事例が増加しています。海外拠点は、物理的に距離が離れていることもあり、質的重要性が高い拠点とされております。また、海外拠点において、不正・不祥事が検出されることもあり、リスク管理の重要性が高いと言えます。

　そのような状況の中、海外拠点が評価範囲に追加され、いざJ-SOX対応を進めることになっても、海外拠点側のJ-SOX理解度が低いため、統制の仕組みの構築や証憑の収集等、J-SOX対応が思うように進まないことが見受けられます。海外拠点におけるJ-SOX対応を円滑に進めるためには、海外拠点担当者にも、J-SOXの目的や構築・評価の進め方等を正しく理解してもらうことが必要です。しかしながら、言語や文化、商習慣の違いもあり、なかなか難しいのが実情のようです。

　本セミナーでは、海外子会社の担当者様や日本本社の海外担当者様向けに、日本における内部統制報告制度の意義・目的・特徴や海外拠点側で行うべき役割やJ-SOXの構築・評価の進め方について、わかりやすく英語で解説いたします。

More than 15 years have passed since the introduction of the internal control reporting system, and while J-SOX practices are embedded, many companies still face challenges at overseas locations. Following the revision of the standards, more overseas locations are being included in the evaluation scope. Overseas locations are often considered significant due to distance, and cases of fraud highlight the importance of risk management.

However, J-SOX implementation does not always proceed smoothly due to limited understanding at overseas locations. To ensure smooth implementation, local personnel need to understand J-SOX objectives and processes, but language and cultural differences make this challenging.

This seminar explains in English the purpose, features, roles, and practical approach to J-SOX for overseas subsidiaries and headquarters staff.

We hope this seminar will support better understanding of J-SOX at overseas locations. (It will be conducted entirely in English without interpretation)
